A hike at the foot of the Mondseeberg.
The Rauchhaus "Marterl" can be seen from the road; an entrance ticket is required to visit the wayside shrine in the open-air museum. The picture of the Virgin Mary at the Mariahilf pilgrimage church and the Donatus "chapel" (pos. 31 and 32) are on the way to the Mariahilf pilgrimage church. Continue along the road to Lechnerbauer, through the motorway subway and up to the end of the road. Continue uphill along the forest path (hiking trail 1). On this path you will find the Hölzlbauer-Marterl (Pos. 38) and the Kreitner wayside shrine (Pos. 39). Back on the road, take a detour to the right downhill to reach the Seppen-Stabau chapel (item 40). Continue along the road to the left. The Daxinger tree painting (item 42) is located at the edge of the forest above the Seegruber chapel. Continue downhill to the Riesnerhof farm. Just before this, the meadow path branches off in the direction of Mondsee. Above the motorway, a forest path leads left to the urn cemetery (pos. 45). Continue along the path until you reach the ascent road. Follow this road back to the car park. Please get in touch for more information.
