Wayside Shrine in the Freilichtmuseum
Tiefgraben am Mondsee, Oberösterreich, Österreich
The Wayside Shrine belonged to the farmhouse "Oberer Schreitenbacher" in Innerschwand.
The hand-forged grid comes from the Steiblhof Wayside Shrine. SR Franz Mayrhofer, who in the 1970s - at the time of the construction of the Mondsee open-air museum - dealt in detail with the chapels in Mondseeland, said that this lattice would be made for the wayside shrine in the museum. The Hammerl family finally left it to the museum and received a replica for their own wayside shrine.
