From Vorderstoder to Spital am Pyhrn to the former collegiate church on the Benedict Pilgrims' Way!
We start in picturesque Vorderstoder and come over gentle hills to Roßleithen, where you can make the very rewarding detour to the Pießling spring, the largest karst spring in the Eastern Alps. Later, you pass the Gleinkersee lake and head to Windischgarsten. Via Edlbach, the trail leads over a gentle ridge to Spital am Pyhrn with its imposing former collegiate church.
On the stage to Spital am Pyhrn, you hike between 600 and 800 m above sea level through the Pyhrn-Priel holiday region. Green meadows and forests, small gorges and ditches constantly alternate. The view always reveals a magnificent mountain backdrop in the distance. The arrival at Gleinkersee is also magnificent. The paths are just as varied - meadow and forest paths, stepped paths, such as at the Pießling spring, but also gravel paths, specially created hiking trails - and of course sections on asphalt.
The tours presented here are suggested tours that are provided free of charge. After agreeing to the terms of the disclaimer you receive detailed information such as altitude profiles, route plans, and an option for downloading files etc.
