Starting in Liebenau at Hotel Rockenschaub, the route mainly leads downhill to Kaltenberg. Once here, you can admire the wonderful view as well as the pilgrimage church. The route then continues on beautiful side roads to the Ruttenstein castle ruins. Via Pierbach and the scenically unique Naarntal valley, you reach Unterweißenbach. You continue on a slightly longer and several shorter climbs towards the Tanner Moor nature reserve. From here it is only a few kilometers back to the start.
