This 69-kilometre gravel tour with 810 meters of elevation gain has it all - compact
compact, intense and with plenty of scenic highlights. Right at the beginning
the Mühlviertel shows what it has to offer: picturesque farms, wide fields and fantastic
views over the gently rolling hills and far into the countryside.
Some of the climbs are crisp and steep, demanding fitness and technique in equal measure,
but are always rewarded with breathtaking views. Those who
experience a real gravel feeling here between meadows, forests and old
freight roads. A particular highlight is Waxenberg Castle - an impressive ruin
impressive ruin that is perfect for a short break. The view from
up there is simply fantastic and makes the short break twice as worthwhile. The
downhills also have character: technical in places, on old gravel roads through the forest
