The mountain bike route "115 b Unterweitersdorf Runde" with 29 km leads through the Mühlviertel hills.
Two starting points connected by the well-signposted cycle path network offer cyclists parking directly at the starting point.

From the Unterweitersdorf municipal office, follow the cycle path for 8 km on asphalt past the Unterweitersdorf industrial area in the direction of Pregarten.
Well signposted, you cycle through the village of Friensdorf, through housing estates up to Hagenberg. The second starting point of the route is in the middle of Hagenberg, between volleyball courts, ponds and other sports facilities.
From here, you leave the village area after just a few meters in a northerly direction and ride on a gravel road through the beautiful "Veichter-Holz".
A short climb up to the Grüner cider tavern, a cozy place to stop for refreshments, before descending into the Feldaisttal valley. This is followed flat towards Kefermarkt, ideal for taking a deep breath, as there is now a steep ascent on steep forest paths up to Dingdorf. Almost at the highest point of the tour, the Dingdorfer Stub'n is waiting to provide refreshments for the rest of the route. The route continues along a goods road around the Kempfendorfer Berg and then follows a meadow path to Matzelsdorf. Here you cross the main road to the west and then whizz down a forest path into the Kleine Gusental valley. The route continues along the former route of the horse-drawn railroad towards the finish. The last few kilometers will challenge you with great trail sections and short, biting climbs.
The villages of Loibersdorf and Gauschitzberg are connected by a combination of forest and meadow paths peppered with a short technical trail section in a wooded area and a stream crossing. Once this is completed, the route heads downhill on a gravel path back to the starting point in Unterweitersdorf.

Around 48% of the route is on natural trails, while the remaining 52% is on paved paths and asphalt (18%).

Nature is always there for us. So it is only fair that we are there for nature too.
Please observe the fair play rules for mountain biking!
