From the starting point at the Sandl municipal office, the route first heads south along the Rindlberg goods road, quickly and without any significant metres in altitude, soon leaving the asphalt and changing to a forest/meadow path.

From the starting point at the Sandl municipal office, the route first heads south on the Rindlberg goods road, quickly and without any significant elevation gain, soon leaving the asphalt and switching to a forest/meadow path. Passing small villages such as Pürstling and Steinwald, the route turns west, where you cross the main road in Weinviertl.
From now on, varied trails and forest paths lead you back towards Sandl.
Just before you think the fun has come to an end, turn right onto a fast trail and hurtle down to Sandl.
If you still haven't had enough, climb the Viehberg, one of eight one-thousand-meter peaks in the municipality of Sandl, along the ski slopes.

(Additional information: If you don't want to cycle up the altitude difference, you can take a shortcut directly to Sandl. But you will miss out on a wonderful view of the Mühlviertel hills).

Descend again along the ski slopes to the Viehberghütte, which provides thirsty bikers with a 24-hour vending machine.
Still motivated, you follow the goods road to Eben for a while before pedaling up a steep gravel climb almost to the highest point of the Hundsberg. Another quick descent on a gravel path and you cycle between alpine meadows from Hacklbrunn back to the starting point.

Around 45% of the route is on natural trails, while the remaining 55% is on paved paths and asphalt (12%).

Nature is always there for us. So it is only fair that we are there for nature too.
Please observe the fair play rules for mountain biking!
