Guided tours are available by telephone arrangement.
The observatory is located on a plateau at the heart more widely forests at an altitude of about 900 meters.
As a result, we still have a very beautiful dark night sky, good atmospheric transparency as to heavily trafficked roads or other dirt emitters located near the observatory neither industry. The dome of the observatory has a diameter of five meters and has a classic wood construction with aluminum roof covering of the Zeiss, Jena.

The main unit is a 40 cm telescope with a primary mirror with a focal length of 320 cm. It is also a Refraktro with 10 cm lens. For sky photography we use various SLR or high-sensitive CCD cameras.
The whole system is controlled by computer, which means that lengthy search of celestial objects, which does us the PC with a suitable program in seconds.
