The Nordwaldkamm Panorama Trail is an impressive circular hiking trail with a length of 95 kilometres. It starts in the cultural metropolis and brewery town of Freistadt.

The Nordwaldkamm Panorama Trail is a circular trail in the Mühlviertler Alm Freistadt holiday region. Founded in 2021, the 95-kilometre trail follows sections of the Nordwaldkammweg classic, Ia and II and the Burgen und Schlösserweg (signposted V9). Visit the
medieval brewing town of Freistadt and slow down in 5 days on the Nordwaldkamm Panorama Trail.

2. Rainbach im Mühlkreis - Kerschbaum horse-drawn railway - Eisenhut - Leopoldschlag -
    Windhaag bei Freistadt 
    27.1 km, walking time 8 hrs,  640 Hm, ↘ 615 Hm

3. Winhaag bei Freistadt (marked NWKW II) - Zettwing - Buchers (connecting trail V12              Buchers) - Stadlberg - taxi to Karlstift 
    22.3 km,  walking time 6 hrs. 45 min, 485 m, ↘ 284 m

4. Stadlberg - Sandl - Holzmühle - ÖAV Braunberghütte 
    21.2 km, walking time 6 hrs. 15 min, 441 m, ↘ 495 m

5. ÖAV Braunberghütte (marked NWKW Ia) - Freistadt 
    10.1 km, walking time 2 hrs. 30 min, 197 Hm, ↘ 528 Hm
