Discovery tour below the mighty Schober massif.

The Eichingerbauer-Marterl (Pos. 248) is in the immediate vicinity of the car park at the Landhotel Eichingerbauer. Continue along the main road towards Salzburg, past the Wagnerbauergut farm to the Teufelmühle bus stop. This is where the marked hiking trail (No. 9 - Wartenfels - Schober) begins, which leads up the hill to Obernberg to the Schwandtbauer. A detour to the Geringer grotto and cross (No. 255) is recommended. Follow the road downhill to Haberergut. The Stadlmann "Marterl" (pos. 259) and the Brucker wayside shrine (pos. 260) are a little off the main path. Hiking trail no. 10 leads through the forest to the municipal road. At the Sterbauer "chapel" (item 237), turn left, then right at the first road junction and left after the bridge to the main road and back to the car park.
