Eichingerbauer wayside cross

St. Lorenz am Mondsee, Oberösterreich, Österreich
The wayside cross was erected in Memory of Mr. Josef Schwertl, the Uncle of Mr. Josef Lehrl. He died because of a heart attack in September 1947 at the age of just 43. Several times hat to be found a new place for the wayside cross beauce of renovation work.
The family cares with great care and keeps the memory of the deceased so early - thus also an important chapter of the family history:
The young widow, Mrs. Schwertl, born. Lehrl vom Keuflgut Oberwang, was overwhelmed to edit the Eichinger building. Her brother worked with the Eichingerbauer Tochter the Keuflgut in Oberwang. A farm exchange was agreed. The widow moved back to Oberwang in the Keuflgut and the sister of the deceased (Mrs. Paula Lehrl, née Schwertl), came back with her husband, Mr. Josef Lehrl, and the then one-year-old son Josef back on Eichingererbauergut.
