The route leads steadily uphill and downhill through small villages to the Danube valley, where the route rewards you with beautiful views of the Danube and the Schlögener Schlinge. A flat section along the river provides relaxation before the return route leads through the valley of the Kleine Mühl back up to the Mühlviertel.
