108 Freistadt round

The start and also the first highlight of this round is the city of Freistadt;

From the town square, cycle out of Freistadt through the Böhmertor gate. A gentle climb takes you to Vierzehn. Through a beautiful section of forest with a varied route and undulating profile, you reach the second highlight, the church in Sankt Peter, which is around 100 metres from the route. After a quick descent, the next ascent follows. At the top, you have a perfect view of the town of Freistadt. Eight kilometres of flat terrain await before the last long uphill section. Before heading back to Freistadt, you cycle through the former Zelletau military training area. From there, the route leads downhill back to the start.
