Directions:
The stage BergeSeen 6 starts at the tourist office in Bad Aussee and leads about 900 m along the Ischler Straße upwards, crossing the main road Salzkammergut Bundesstraße, in order to get to the road Wilhelm-Kienzl Straße. After 200 m we turn to the right to the Teichstraße, which leads us straight to the Narzissenhotel. From the Narzissenhotel we go to the main road B145 and turn to the left for 300 m more. Then again we turn to the left to the Fischgasse. We follow the Fischgasse to the crossing to the Sommersbergseestraße, which we take from then on straight ahead. After 500 m we leave the tarmac road, before it goes into the forest. 90 degrees to the left now and the trail leads us 300 m more on a gravel road till the next turn. There we turn to the left and again to the left after 200 m following the signs "S800" through the forest Sarsteinwald. Always straight ahead we carry on until we leave the forest and we shall pass a farmstead on our left (746 alt, km 5,5). On the Stapflweg straight ahead, we turn to the right in order to get to the Sarsteinstraße (706 alt, km 6,1). The Sarsteinstraße we shall leave again after about 900 m and take from then on the idyllic path Austegweg. The Austegweg is a simple trail, which will get more wide after a short distance. After about 1 km this path leads us to the river Koppentraun.

Upstream along the Koppentraun we reach the road Koppentalstraße and after about 1,9 km the train station in Bad Aussee. Straight ahead over the river we turn at the first possibility to the right (641 alt, km 10,2) into the Sießsreithstraße, which we follow about 1 km. Before we reach the main road B145, we turn to the right, over the bridge, to get to the cycle path of the Koppenalmstraße. After 1,3 km in a left-right turn (681 alt, km 12,5) over the river and further upstream in direction to Bad Mitterndorf. Shortly after the fishponds to our left the trail turns to the left in direction to Ödensee (769 alt, km 16,5). Here there is the possibility to shorten the tour. We follow the Ödenseestraße till the restaurant Kohlröserlhütte on a tarmac road and go around the lake from the right side always following the signs. After about 1,6 km straight ahead we take the Alte Ödenseestraße, which we shall leave again by the first chance after 500 m to the right (778 alt, km 20,6). The road leads us now upwards. After 700 m we turn to the left (848 alt, km 21,3). Now the trail takes us effortless through the forest and after about 6,8 km there is the possibility to turn to the left in direction to the Steinitzenalm for a stop for drinks and snacks. Or we carry on 3 km more on the Almgrabenstraße until the end of the forest (790 alt, km 31,1). At the accommodation Sportappartments we turn to the right, take the path Kraglweg to the road Pass-Stein-Straße L729, which will take us to Bad Mitterndorf. In Bad Mitterndorf we follow the signs "S800", which leads us to the right in the center of the village. In the center bellow the church in a sharp right turn we turn left and take the Kochalmweg (803 alt, km 36,1) in direction to the Kochalm, where the tarmac street turns into a gravel road. We stay on the Kochalmweg and carry on always straight ahead. After 3,9 km we cross the river Salza. 1,4 km further on the way to our left there is the mountain pasture Salza Almen. Soon we reach the highest point of the tour in 1205 m. Now already 46 km are behind us and we are looking forward to a speedy downhill to Grundlsee. Always follow the signs "S800 BergeSeen 6" through the forest passing the Tendlkogel. There is a gate before we leave the forest, be careful there (717 alt, km 52,2). There we turn to the right and take the Gösslweg. From now on the tarmac road brings as 7,6 km along the Grundlsee. After the Seehotel Grundlsee we turn to the right upwards into the cycle path, which leads directly to Altaussee.

Tip:
The Ausseerland offers countless photo scenes. The lakes, such as the Grundlsee, invite with its natural beaches. Also a side trip to the mysterious Toplitzsee will be an enrichment for your tour.

Equipment:
Please note that any MTB tours can always be done with proper equipment.

Here our recommendation for tour preparation and equipment.

Additional information:
As new figures on the playing field of mountain and recreational sportsmen, we E-MTB riders have a special responsibility to behave appropriately.

In Graubünden bikers and hikers share the paths. A project that should set a precedent. But this can only be done with mutual respect. Black sheep throw us back years.

With common rules of play, we ensure that the forest will continue to provide a unique recreational and living space as well as jobs for everyone in the future.
