Orte des Glaubens: Panoramarunde Guggenberg

A tour over the Guggenberg with fantastic views of Lake Mondsee.

Hiking trail no. 3 to the Hochalm begins in the Gosaugraben to the east of the car park. Following this, we reach the Mondseebergstraße and walk a few metres downhill to the Döllerer-Marterl (Pos. 52) and Meindl-Bildstock (Pos. 53), then we follow the meadow path uphill to the left. Where the road is reached again is the turn-off to Manzberg where the Tiefgraben fire station (Pos. 55) and the Manzberg "chapel" (Pos. 56) are located. The loop leads uphill along the road to Neuhäusl. The Wilden cross (pos. 60), the Grübler chapel (pos. 61) and the Mayrhofer wayside shrine (pos. 62) are located off the main path. At the bus stop, the Hochmoorstraße branches off to the left, also marked as hiking trail no. 6. From the Koglerbinder wayside shrine (pos. 70), we walk downhill through the forest and along the road through Berg back to the village centre.
