Buchschartner-Kapelle

Die Chapel was buildt in rembrance of Matthias Steinbichler who died on the 3rd of December in 1896.
The Chapel was probably built Right after the accident, around 1900. 
In 1998 the roof truss was renovated by the Family Emeder who know own the Building. They also look after the Chapel. The Chapel houses a grot with the virgin Mary and Saint Josef and Baby Jesus.

An Inscription describes the sad Event that led to the Chapel being built
"In Remembrance of Mr Matthias Steinbichler, who tragically died on the 3rd of December 1796 at 4 pm in the forest while doing forest work. We bid for a Lord's Prayer.
In Remembrance of Mrs Elisabeth Schneeweis, Farmer at the Buchschartnergut. Passed away on the 4th of November 1999"
