Hand-built single trails, particularly nature-friendly, rooted in the region and implemented as a community
As the first official Mühlviertel trail centre, the Roadlberg trails in Ottenschlag im Mühlkreis and Alberndorf in der Riedmark were officially opened and released on 11 June 2023. The trails lead around the observation tower through the impressive mixed forests of the popular excursion mountain.
As with all MTB-Linz projects, a particularly high value was placed on a natural construction method in the Roadlberg nature reserve in the gentle Mühlviertel hills. The narrow forest trails were created exclusively by hand in hundreds of hours of labour and without any external materials. The Roadlberg trails can be used by private individuals and local clubs all year round and free of charge in compliance with the fair play rules.

We ask you to keep the parking spaces at the Roadlhof free for guests - especially at weekends and during weddings, parking spaces are otherwise scarce and should not be additionally restricted by the cars of mountain bikers. Parking spaces are available behind the Roadlhof for customers of the Popaflo bike shop or for riding technique courses.
Riding the trails is completely free of charge for private individuals and clubs. The Roadlberg trails were created as a modern and attractive mountain bike offer for the general public. The Radl-Schui practice area can also be used free of charge to improve your own skills for more safety on the bike.
