The Roadlberg trails were implemented as the first small Mühlviertel trail center by MTB Linz together with the Union Alberndorf and the Union Reichenau-Haibach-Ottenschlag. In addition to the trails, you will also find the Gasthof Roadlhof (drinks machine available outside opening hours), the Popaflo bike store and a bike wash.
Current trail conditions, closures and detailed information about the Roadlberg trails can be found on the website of the responsible trail operators:
https://www.uppertrails.at
or https://roadlber g.uppertrails.at
Use is free for the local population and clubs. Commercial offers are prohibited and must be requested from the trail owner and landowner via UpperTrails / MTB Linz. Larger group events must also be registered.
UpperTrails (formerly MTB-Linz) is responsible for maintaining the trails and mountain bike routes. You can also contact them if you have any questions, requests or problems. UpperTrails can be reached at www.uppertrails.at. Current trail reports and closure notifications can also be found directly on the UpperTrails homepage.
Riding on the Roadlberg trails is permitted all year round at the following contractually regulated times:
1 October to 30 April:
09:00 - 17:00
1 May to 30 September:
08:00 - 20:00
Outside these times, riding is strictly prohibited - for the benefit of nature and wildlife. Please accept the rules so that we can work together. Travelling in bad weather or snow is permitted.
Use of the Roadlberg trails is completely free of charge. The organisers of the trail project, the Linz Mountain Bike Initiative, would be delighted to receive voluntary donations. Find out more on the website www.mtblinz.
