Irina Krenn and the Salzkammergut have a lot in common: Honest. Straightforward. Genuine. And also very passionate. Just a real Goiserin. "For me, biking is self-care - especially when you can do it with a view like this," says the successful multi-sport athlete. She has competed in numerous mountain bike races across Europe and has made a name for herself in the process. But her heart beats for the Salzkammergut.
"Of course the Dolomites are also beautiful. But you don't have any lakes there. Our region is simply unique." There is something for every calf on the ten stages of the BergeSeen eTrail: from leisurely to challenging tours. "You don't have to be an athlete - unlike the Salzkammergut Trophy - to experience something. I've also ridden parts of the route with my children - when the little one was five years old. We cycled from ice to ice. Once to heaven and back, so to speak."
