Where urban rhythm
hits the steep curve:
Austria's only
Velodrom in Linz.
Rounds in the wooden oval
The Velodrom Club
Flow on the pump track
Trails around the city
Always follow the Danube
From curves to culture
The hello yellow velodrome was initiated as a heartfelt project and deliberately conceived as a community meeting place. It is aimed at competitive athletes as well as the curious, young and experienced riders. The track lives from the people who look after it, organise it and fill it with life. The volunteer work arises from the joy of passing on a special discipline and developing together.
"The idea from the outset was to create a place that is open. The Velodrom is the result of a lot of commitment and joint work, not just for competitive cycling, but for everyone who wants to experience track cycling. It's about sharing experience, enthusiasm and developing cycling in the city."
Johannes Staudinger, Velodrom Linz - Association for Sport and Culture
