Easttrail - Steinbach

We follow the Dr.Gleißner-Weg to Alexenau and go up to Bramhosenberg.

The hike starts at the fire station across from the church. From there, the route heads right, past the church, toward Wachtberg. The trail then follows Dr.-Gleißner-Weg to Alexenau and climbs behind the Hotel Bramosen toward Bramhosenberg.

You can stop for a break at the Hotel Bramosen. Passing the Seeleitenstüberl —which is no longer in operation but has a fountain where you can refresh yourself—you’ll soon reach the ridge. From there, you can take a left to climb to the summit of the Bramhosenberg as well.

To the right, the descent begins through the Blümigen district toward Seefeld. Once you reach the main road, the trail leads left to the boat landing for a return trip by boat. Be sure to check the current boat schedule in advance. For a return trip to Weyregg by bus, the trail leads right to the bus stop.
