mountain pastures hike - Födinger Alm

Walk through the "Foedinger Alm" with the possibility to continue to "Gupf Alm" and "Schmaussinger Alm" (both are closed!). You start at the parking lot "Kienesberg - Födinger Alm". There you orientate yourself along the Laxenbach and hike on the forest road in the shade of the trees to the Hubertushütte. (1 hour). The Hubertus hut is open from May to October almost continuously and you can fortify yourself with delicacies from the region.

Below the "Hubertus Hütte" the signposted and marked alpine hiking trail begins. First you follow the road and then turn right into the forest. It goes downhill until you reach the Laxenbachstraße. Here you follow the signs past the "Laxenbach Holzstube" until you continue through the forest again in the direction of Gupf and Schmaußinger Alm (both closed). It is recommended to bring hiking poles, as the last part of the trail is steeply uphill. Once you reach the forest road, turn right and hike downhill again to the Bachstraße. There you turn right and return to the starting point parking lot Kienesberg Alm.
