Walk through the "Foedinger Alm" with the possibility to continue to "Gupf Alm" and "Schmaussinger Alm" (both are closed!).
The starting point is the “Kienesberg – Födinger Alm” parking lot . From there, the route follows the Laxensee stream along a shaded forest road to the Hubertushütte. The walk takes about 1 hour. The Hubertushütte is open almost continuously from May through October and offers regional delicacies to refuel.Below the Hubertushütte, the signposted and marked Almenwanderweg trail begins. At first, the route follows the road and soon branches off to the right into the forest. It then heads downhill to Laxenbachstraße. Following the signs, the trail passes the Laxenbach-Holzstube and continues through the forest toward Gupf and Schmaußinger Alm. Both alpine pastures are closed.
Hiking poles are recommended, as the final section is steep uphill in places. Once you reach the forest road, the route turns right and then heads downhill again to Bachstraße. There, the trail turns right and leads back to the starting point at the Kienesberg – Födinger Alm parking lot.
