R203 Discovery cycle tour (panoramic variant - Austrian side)

The discovery cycle tour circles the entire region and takes in well-known highlights as well as numerous tips for explorers.

The 180-kilometer loop can be comfortably cycled in three to four days. Depending on your mood. This is because the region only has a few gentle climbs. The multi-day tour is characterized by views, nature, culture and culinary delights.

Starting in Braunau am Inn, you cycle towards the Salzburg Lake District via the towns of Lochen am See, Kirchberg b. M. and Eggelsberg past many beautiful viewpoints to the Ibmer and Bürmooser Moor and the Weidmoos bird paradise. The route then follows the Tauern cycle path back to Braunau.

Around 90% of the route is on asphalt paths, the rest on wide, paved gravel paths.
Around 70% of the route is on side roads.
