Works by J.S. Bach, Johannes Brahms, Zsigmond Szathmáry, Max Bruch ("Kol nidre") and George Gershwin ("Rhapsody in Blue")

The festival "Orgel bewegt!" was launched in 2024 in collaboration with the European Capital of Culture 2024 Bad Ischl Salzkammergut and in particular with its artistic director, Elisabeth Schweeger, and delighted audiences and artists alike. In the spirit of sustainability and not least in response to popular demand, we are continuing this successful format and organising three special evenings around the romantic organ of the Bad Ischl parish church: The great virtuoso Balász Szábo, Martin Haselböck's successor as professor at the mdw, with brilliant works of the Romantic period, the silent film NOSFERATU, accompanied on the organ by Thomas Ospital, the young organ professor at the Paris Conservatoire, and a very special programme for trumpet and organ with the grandmaster Reinhold Friedrich and the cathedral organist in Essen, Sebastian Küchler-Blessing. - Not to be missed !
