Visit the snow-covered region of the Gosau Valley and stay in a holiday flat of Discovers Gosau.

Gosau is an idyllic mountain village at the foot of the snowy Dachstein West ski area

In winter you can ski, cross-country ski and hike. Transavia offers cheap flights from 1 December - 1 April, flying directly to Salzburg. From there you can be at the flat in an hour by car and on the slopes the same morning!

Haus Edelweiss is located in the wide valley of Gosau, 2.8 km from the slopes, with a view over the meadows and the impressive mountain massif of the Gosaukamm. In winter you can see the ski lift. The lift is easily accessible with the ski bus that runs regularly, the bus stop is only 100 metres from the house.

There is a very large car park opposite the lifts. For children, as beginners, but also for advanced skiers it is a very attractive ski area. (142 km of slopes) For children there is a practice slope "Fredyland" with three lifts. Both adults and children can take ski and snowboard courses.

from Salzburg:
Motorway exit Golling - Abtenau, Russbach, Gosau.
Gosau: After the Pass Gschütt crossing, turn left onto the Vordertalstraße. After approx. 1 km you will reach us on the right-hand side.

from Linz:
Motorway exit Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau
Gosau: Drive in the direction of the Pass Gschütt junction, about 1 km before you reach us you will find us on the right-hand side.

from Vienna/Graz:
Motorway exit Liezen on the B320, in Trautenfels turn on Salzkammergut street B145 to Bad Aussee, turn on Koppen street through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau
Gosau: Drive in the direction of the Pass Gschütt junction, about 1 km before you reach us you will find us on the right-hand side.

from Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit “Eben im Pongau”, via the B166 Pass Gschütt federal road to Gosau
Gosau: After the Pass Gschütt crossing, turn left onto the Vordertalstraße. After approx. 1 km you will reach us on the right-hand side.

Attnang-Puchheim - Stainach-Irdning lines
Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue with bus 541/542 in the direction Gosausee

By bus (irregularly on Sundays):
Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) direction Gosau, stop Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt
change to the bus direction Bad Ischl, get off at the bus stop "Gosau Ramsau B166" and turn right into Stötzlgasse after approx. 200m on foot. After about 100m you will reach the flat.

Bus 541/542 (Bad Ischl - Gosausee) direction Gosausee, stops Haltestelle: Gosau Klaushof, Gosau Bärnausiedlung, Gosau Ressenbachweg, Gosau Vordertal B166, Gosau Ramsau B166
walk about 200m, turn right into Stötzlgasse, after about 100m you will reach the flat.
