G1 Altenberg-Pemberg Circuit

The starting point of this approximately 14-kilometer loop is Altenberg near Linz. From here, the route first heads west through Willersdorf and Niederring, then climbs steadily through Oberwinkl to Pelmberg. Along this section, beautiful views of the typical rolling hills of the Mühlviertel open up time and again.

From Pelmberg, the route continues through Pargfried and Edt toward Preisling and Ramersdorf. Passing through Würschendorf, the loop finally winds through varied countryside and along quiet side roads back to Altenberg.

A compact, scenic loop with a few climbs—ideal for anyone who wants to actively explore the hilly Mühlviertel by bike.
