Laussabaueralm to the Inselsbacheralm

A leisurely hike for nature lovers on the Hengstpass.

From the Laussabaueralm, a narrow path leads across the pasture to the Rotkreuzbach stream. Cross the stream and walk left along the forest path towards the Rot-Kreuz chapel. After half an hour you come to a forest road. The path leads straight ahead to the Rot-Kreuz-Kapelle chapel, but you turn left and ascend directly to the Inselsbacheralm. Here you have a wonderful view of the Haller Mauern and the Sengsengebirge mountains. The hut is not staffed, so it is advisable to take a snack and something to drink with you.
The way back follows the same route.

Walking time to the Inselsbacheralm approx. 1.5 hours.
