The start is directly from the Hotel FREIGOLD, where you head east and cycle out into the peaceful hilly landscape of the Mühlviertel. Via the Zelletau, you cycle on a mixture of side roads, gravel paths and forest passages further and further into the typical granite landscape with meadows and fields. The most beautiful sections of the tour await in St. Oswald and Braunberg: flowing forest paths, short, crisp climbs and sweeping views across the Mühlviertel, perfect for gravel bikes and e-MTBs. The route then takes you back to FREIGOLD via Lasberg on roads with little traffic and gravel paths, where you can round off the tour in the Sky Spa or with a drink on the terrace.
