Rennradtour Southside | Impulshotel Freigold

From Hotel FREIGOLD in Freistadt, you cycle south out of the city on quiet roads. Via Lest and Neumarkt you cycle through the typical hilly landscape of the Mühlviertel, with gentle but persistent climbs. In Sallersdorf you roll to the Peter Affenzeller whisky distillery, from there you head to Gallneukirchen. There are long, flowing sections where you can really pick up the pace before the route swings northwards again via Unterweitersdorf and Hagenberg. Via Kefermarkt, the route leads back to Freistadt on roads with little traffic, where you can take it easy for the last few kilometers. A sporty but easy round trip with plenty of scenery, a decent amount of elevation gain and the perfect start and finish point at the Hotel FREIGOLD, ideal as a longer training session.
