You set off directly from the Hotel FREIGOLD on quiet roads out into the western Mühlviertel. Via Hirschbach and Reichenthal, the route takes you through typical hilly country with gentle climbs. The route then continues via Rainbach and Lichtenau, with flowing descents and beautiful views of the Mühlviertel landscape. Via Grünbach, you return to Freistadt on roads with little traffic, where you can really let the last few kilometers run their course. A moderately challenging road bike tour with lots of scenery, good asphalt and a perfect start and finish point at the Hotel FREIGOLD.
