From here, you do not take the "Jägersteig" trail to the south-east, which leads directly to the Klinkehütte, but is challenging in places and exceeds the difficulty of the Luchs Trail. Instead, choose the small marked Alpsteig trail, which leads south directly down towards Kaiserau. Descending steadily, you reach the high valley of the Kaiserau at its upper end at 1,220 m above sea level. From here, you hike uphill again to the east and reach the Klinkehütte in around an hour via a hiking trail - crossing the toll road once in the direction of the Klinkehütte. The last section of the day leads over the Kalblinggatterl down the Flitzengraben and on the other side back up to the Mödlingerhütte, where you have reached your destination for the day.
Tip:It is recommended to contact the Trail Info & Booking Center before booking.

Safety guidelines:You should also be well equipped for changeable weather.
Packing your rucksack correctly makes things a lot easier: pack heavy items first. The water bottle should always be within easy reach in a side pocket. All items that are often needed, such as sunglasses, smartphone or hiking map, should be on top.
