The Pabneukirchen loop gains altitude right after the start with easy climbs. Shortly before the Wallner Chapel, a short steep section demands maximum effort and the turbo - only a few bikers will not have to dismount and push here. Always close to the 800m mark, the route continues to Henndorf and from there mostly on asphalt down to Hagenmühle. The route shares a section with the Tour de Alm and M1 to Groß-Erlau before branching off to the right and heading back towards Pabneukirchen via Riedersdorf and Unter-Eisendorf in a steady up and down, finally passing the Holzwelten. There are several places to stop for refreshments in the market or within a few minutes of the route.
