This cross-border tour starts in Aigen-Schlägl and first leads uphill towards Grünwald and Oberhaag before entering the Czech Republic. Along the Vltava reservoir and the Vltava river, the route is mostly flat through the Vltava valley via Frydava, Vyšší Brod and Rožmberk to Český Krumlov. From there, the route leads via Hořice na Šumavě and Černá v Pošumaví back to the Vltava reservoir, including a ferry crossing and finally back to Aigen-Schlägl via Oberhaag. A long, scenically impressive tour with lots of water views and cultural highlights.
