This varied circular tour starts and ends in Aigen-Schlägl and leads through the hilly Mühlviertel and the neighboring Bavarian region. Via Klaffer am Hochficht and Breitenberg, the route runs through quiet villages and over panoramic climbs. After the descent towards Untergriesbach, the route returns to Austria via Neustift and Oberkappel. Further highlights are Putzleinsdorf, Sarleinsbach and Rohrbach-Berg, before the route leads back to Aigen-Schlägl via side roads. The tour offers a delightful mix of scenic variety, moderate to challenging climbs and roads with little traffic.
