A chilled warm-up on the B124 before the climb to Mönchdorf gets your calves up to operating temperature. Here you leave the main road and enter a labyrinthine network of goods roads. It's an entertaining ride to St. Thomas am Blasenstein with magnificent views - weather permitting - from Ötscher to Traunstein. In autumn, you are likely to have the sun on your face here, while a carpet of fog spreads over the entire central region and Alpine foothills - a sight like a painting - awesome. Now you can unpack your downhill qualities on a magnificent descent - provided you have enough downhill skills, you can really blast down here before another long climb with magnificent views towards the Ötscher and eastern Alpine foothills is on the agenda. When you finally reach St. Georgen am Walde, your engine will be longing for the descent to KW and a cold electrolyte drink.
