Destination: 4170 St. Stefan-Afiesl

This 55 km long gravel tour with 1,420 meters of altitude difference offers challenging climbs, tough downhills and fantastic views - ideal for ambitious gravel fans who want to experience the Mühlviertel intensively.

This 55-kilometre gravel tour with an elevation gain of 1420 meters has it all - compact, intense and with plenty of scenic highlights. Right at the start, the Mühlviertel shows what it has to offer: picturesque farms, wide fields and fantastic views over the gently rolling hills far into the countryside. The climbs are sometimes steep and crisp, demanding both fitness and technique, but are always rewarded with breathtaking views.
Those who are not afraid of the effort will experience a real gravel feeling between meadows, forests and old goods roads. A particular highlight is Waxenberg Castle - an impressive ruin that is perfect for a short break. The view from up there is simply fantastic and makes the short break twice as worthwhile. The downhills also have character: technical in places, on old gravel roads through the forest, they demand full concentration and reward you with pure flow.
A tour for ambitious gravel fans who love challenging climbs, tough descents and authentic scenery - the Mühlviertel shows its rough but beautiful side here.
