This varied circular tour starts in Schöneben and first leads downhill to Ulrichsberg. The route continues along scenic mountain roads to Aigen-Schlägl and then uphill to Grünwald and Oberhaag. After crossing the border into the Czech Republic, the route runs mostly flat along the Vltava reservoir and through well-known towns such as Lipno nad Vltavou, Frymburk and Horní Planá.
