Directions:

The starting point is the parking lot at Nah & Frisch (formerly Salzwimmer) in Großraming. From there, follow the road to the right. At the crossroads, turn onto hiking trail E42a in the direction of Haingrabeneck and initially stay on the road in the direction of Fuchsberg. After the hamlet, the path leads into the forest and on to the Schartenmauer. From here, the trail continues uphill on a well-built path to the Haingrabeneck summit at 841 meters. About halfway up, the "lookout" point invites you to take a break. There you have a clear view of the surrounding mountains and the Kalkalpen National Park. At the summit, the view extends as far as the foothills of the Alps.
