GEH:DENK:WEG means walk - think - immerse yourself - absorb - enjoy nature - admire - reflect.


The Enns is the scene of life and passing, spanning thousands of years right up to the present day.


At nine stations you will find informative themed panels, and you can discover additional image and film material with interviews with contemporary witnesses using QR codes.

Directions:

The Weyrer GEH:DENK:WEG invites you on an impressive hike along the Enns. The trail leads from the historic Katzensteinermühle mill to the picturesque Taverne im Kasten in the area of the Gaflenz estuary. This themed trail combines nature, culture and history in a particularly impressive way. Numerous contemporary testimonies and display boards tell of eventful moments, local incidents and significant historical events in this region.



The start and finish is the Katzensteinermühle mill in Weyer (Am Gaflenzbach 33, 3335 Weyer an der Enns)

Tip:

A visit to the Katzensteinermühle (open from April 1 - October 31, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 1.00 - 5.00 pm) is absolutely worthwhile.

Adapt your tours to the current weather reports and act according to the seasonal dangers in the terrain.
