Haager Lies Geh- und Radweg

The new "Haager Lies-Radweg" is certainly one of the most impressive paths in Austria. The 22 km long cycle and footpath leads along the former railroad line from Haag am Hausruck to Neukirchen near Lambach.
Thanks to the Westbahn connection in Neukirchen, it is also possible to travel by train in a climate-friendly way.
The 22 kilometers of the route can be cycled barrier-free due to the low gradient and are ideal for beginners to the sport of handcycling or e-biking.
Those responsible have provided the appropriate charging stations!

Rest areas
Along the new "Haager Lies reloaded" cycle and footpath, a number of unusual rest areas have already been created in recent months as part of the project funded by the two LEADER regions "Mostlandl" and "LEWEL". More places are still to be created in the coming months. Gaspoltshofen's "regular artist", Hans Schörkhuber, alone is responsible for five of these rest areas. He is making his works of art available free of charge. Only the external material costs have to be borne by the association or the municipalities and the funding body.
