Haager Lies Geh- und Radweg

The new "Haag Lies Cycle Path" is certainly one of the most impressive paths in Austria. The 22 km long bike and walking path leads along the former railroad line from Haag am Hausruck to Neukirchen near Lambach.
Due to the Westbahn connection in Neukirchen, a climate-friendly journey by train is also possible.
The 22 kilometers of the route are in any case barrier-free due to the low gradient and ideal, for example, for newcomers to handbiking or e-biking.

Rest areas
Along the new bike and walking path "Haager Lies reloaded", several extraordinary resting places have already been created in the past months in the project promoted by the two LEADER regions "Mostlandl" and "LEWEL". Further places are in the coming months still in the developing. The Gaspoltshofen "regular artist", Hans Schörkhuber, alone is responsible for five of these rest areas. He makes his works of art available free of charge. Only the external material costs must carry the federation and/or must the municipalities and the promotion place.
