This circular trail leads through meadows, forests, along the alpine pasture and the Sausbach stream, up to the Friedenskreuz on the Kaibling and offers two refreshment stops.
The Leonhardi Bründl in Heiligenleithen, whose spring is said to have healing properties, is located halfway along the route. The Heiligenleithen pilgrimage church (1431) with its baroque altars and a 15th century statue of St. Leonhard towers directly above it. Every year around November 6, the Leonhardiritt attracts numerous visitors. The highest point of the route, the Friedenskreuz on the Oberkaibling, offers an impressive view of the Traunstein and, on a clear day, a distant view as far as Linz. An ideal tour for nature lovers and those interested in culture!
