A tour from the city-countryside project "Radstern Gmunden"

This varied cycle tour leads through the city region of Gmunden along the signposted everyday cycle route network "Radstern Gmunden". The circular route starts at Gmunden railroad station and runs through the idyllic Aurachtal valley to Reindlmühl and Neukirchen. The route then heads towards Lake Traunsee and mostly follows the Salzkammergut Railway back to the starting point.
For navigation, you can use the downloadable GPS data or the signposting on site. The following destinations along the route will help you find your way.

Route & signposting:
Start: Gmunden train station → Pinsdorf (along the R2 regional cycle path) → Reindlmühl → Neukirchen → in the direction of Altmünster → Finish: Gmunden train station

Flexibility & orientation:
The route can be started at various entry points or individually adapted and shortened. The continuous signposting helps with orientation and makes it possible to plan the tour flexibly.
It is also possible to obtain information via a link to the general Open Cycle Map or to the Waymarked Trails map (same content, just different presentation).

Refreshment stops:
Numerous refreshment stops along the route invite you to take a leisurely break: Restaurants are located in Gmunden, Pinsdorf, Reindlmühl, Neukirchen and Pinsdorf.
