An 8km circular route through Ibm and along the moorland nature trail;
Before the Eggelsberg parish church (market square), we head slightly downhill to the right, cross the B156, past the Billa and now follow the Eggelsberg Glacier Trail or long-distance hiking trail 810 to the "Maria Hilf" church in Ibm. The village of Ibm was first mentioned in 1070 and originally had a castle with a chapel on the Schlossberg. This former castle and chapel were demolished and replaced by a new chapel in Ibm in 1903. The original 15th century statue of Maria Hilf from the former castle chapel now stands in the "Maria Hilf" chapel in Ibm.
Continue along the "Großer Rundweg" moorland nature trail to the Seeleiten snack station. From here you have a magnificent view over the Seeleiten lake and the mystical Ibmer Moor, one of the most important nature reserves in Upper Austria. Continue along the Saaggrabenweg to the village of Wannersdorf, cross a road and reach the Saaggrabenbach (Wannersdorferbach) after around 1.5 km. In the forest gorge we cross a bridge and leave the Saaggrabenweg. Turn right along the edge of the forest, then steeply uphill through a newly reforested area to the hill. We now cross a meadow, reach the spruce path and after about 1 km return to the Eggelsberg parish church, where we meet up with the main Marien-Wanderweg route again.
