Kapellen-Marterl-Rundweg

The leisurely, historic chapel and wayside shrine hike in the lower Mühlviertel, which mostly runs along meadow and forest paths, is a pleasure at any time of year.

Over gentle hills and meadows, through sparse mixed forest, along field margins, this circular tour of chapels and shrines leads in a wide arc from Tragwein via the historic Badgraben to Wimmerfeld, on to Lugendorf, Zudersdorf, Höhenweg, Bildungshaus Greisinghof, Mistlberg and Taferlberg back to the start or the parking lot in Tragwein.

Those who have successfully completed the hike, including cultural training, have the opportunity to stop off at the "Bella Casa" pizzeria (on the market square) or the "Cafe Thurner" (next to Spar).
