Greisinghof waterway

The circular trail leads from the parking lot of the Greisinghof education center along the Bible garden and over the Himmelstiege to the southwest down to the B 124.

After crossing it, turn right shortly before the Aist bridge to the banks of the Waldaist. After a small footbridge, follow the left bank of the river along a beautiful forest path with picturesque granite formations and sparkling water. You pass the Hohensteg bathing area, which is ideal for swimming in summer when the weather is fine. Now turn right onto a forest path. Through the Fuchsgraben, the trail leads up to the Stranzberg farm road, which you follow briefly before turning right. The path leads northwards to the B 124, which you cross. Now hike up the Greisinghof estate road for a while. At the Mistlberg fire station, the path branches off to the left towards Greisinghof and leads along meadows and forest to the Sixtl inn. Then turn right and follow a forest path back to the parking lot.
