Tragwein East

The circular trail leads from the market square (Mariensäule) along the Mühlenweg. You then follow a meadow and forest path to Kettenbach (lowest point of the route). The path now continues towards Waltersberg. After crossing the Hennberg goods road, you have the option of choosing a slightly shorter, shadier and, above all, less challenging route. If you choose the longer route, continue uphill to the right towards Waltersberg (highest point of the route). From here you have a wonderful view of Tragwein and the mountains (Priel area etc.) in good weather;

The trail now continues along an asphalt road and a forest path towards the B124 Königwiesener-Bundesstraße (just before the main road, the route is again shared with the shorter variant). Follow the main road towards Tragwein and cross it in the direction of Güterweg Lugendorf and then pass the Pankrazhofer organic farm to reach another beautiful viewpoint. Now the path leads downhill again and you cross the Pernbach. The path now branches off to the right in the direction of the village, past the beautiful bathing lake and back to the market square.
