KOBLSTADT-HÖTZLARN ROUND | Movement Arena INNVIERTEL

Starting place: 4973 St. Martin im Innkreis
Destination: 4973 St. Martin im Innkreis

A varied mix of gentle hills, picturesque forest passages and wide meadows awaits you on the Koblstadt-Hötzlarn loop. The route is ideal for hikers who want to enjoy nature and be active at the same time.

The hike begins in the center of St. Martin im Innkreis. From here, the trail initially leads slightly uphill towards the village of Koblstadt. After a short but steep ascent, you reach Koblstadt. Here you can take a short break and enjoy the view of the surrounding fields and forests. The fresh air and the tranquillity of nature invite you to linger.

After Koblstadt, the route continues towards the highway. Despite the proximity to the infrastructure, you feel like you are in the middle of nature here. The route continues to Hötzlarn, a quiet, rural village.

A particular highlight of this hike are the forest passages that you cross on the way back to St. Martin im Innkreis. After the forest passages, the path gently descends back to St. Martin im Innkreis. The hike ends as it began: quiet and relaxing in the midst of charming rural surroundings.
This hike offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the nature of the Innviertel region in all its diversity. From open fields to shady forests - nature lovers will get their money's worth on this route.

The "THREE FIR TREES TOUR" in the municipality of Höhnhart is an adventure trail for hikers of all ages.

The 10 km long circular hiking trail starts at the Höhnhart municipal office and leads through the village past fields and meadows to the most modern junior ski jumping facility in Europe. Climbing the plastic ski jump facility opened in 2009 in the Borbet Allianz Arena Höhnhart guarantees a unique experience at any time of the year. However, you should register with Ms. Johanna Hintermair by phone on 0676 840160566. She accompanies you safely over the numerous steps up to the 60 meter high ski jump. From there you can look down and feel like a ski eagle. The unique view over the gently rolling landscape of the Innviertel to the Bavarian Forest is definitely worth the steep climb.

Back on solid ground, it's on to the large motor skills park. Here, your own coordination skills, as well as mobility and condition are trained in a playful way. The Drei Tannen Weg then continues to the beautiful Raider Chapel, which invites you to take a little rest.

TIP: A wonderful panoramic view of the town of Höhnhart and the surrounding area can be enjoyed if you hike along the edge of the forest above Aigertsham.

If you take your time for the various interesting activities along the Drei Tannen Weg, you should estimate a total walking time of three hours, or if you haven't experienced enough heights yet, you can catch up on this adrenaline rush on the unique Ski Flyer 2 km away.

ADRENALINE KICK
As soon as you climb the 25 meter high tower of the Ski-Flyer adventure jump, you will feel your heart rate increase. When you get to the top, it's time to put on your helmet, put on your skis, secure your belt and please take a seat on the so-called "Zitterbalken". The pulse races, the adrenaline shoots through the veins and now comes the command: three, two, one, off! And you fly 200 meters to your destination, secured on a steel cable (www.erlebnisschanze.at).

TIP: The flying style can be analyzed very well with a tasty Innviertler snack in one of the down-to-earth restaurants - Gasthof Gramiller, Wirt z'Herbstheim or the Mostschenke Schmiedbauer. This hike on the Drei Tannen Tour in Höhnhart is an exciting, sporty and also a culinary experience.
