The hike begins in the center of Gurten and leads you gently uphill on well-marked paths to the Eichberg, a popular local recreation area. Right at the start of the hike, the rural panorama invites you to linger. On your way, you will encounter flowering meadows and well-tended fields that glow in bright colors in spring and summer.

A detour takes you up to the Eichberg, from where you can enjoy the view over the rolling hills of the Innviertel. The Eichberg is not only known for its tranquillity, but also for its natural forests. The circular trail around the Eichberg is easy to master and offers particularly beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Here you can take a deep breath and enjoy nature to the full.

The hike ends back in the center of Gurten.
